Packaging Design Team Lead - Dublin

Our client, is a global artwork production agent with recognized Pharmaceutical Quality certifications who are suppliers of packaging materials and origination/artwork to the pharmaceutical industry.
Job Description
To manage a small customer focused artwork team (project managers, artworks and quality controllers) in their daily production work and make sure all work is co-ordinated in an efficient way and to the necessary high standards.
Co-ordination of all aspects of the day-to-day work including liaising with the customer and their team.
Team Management
To work in a senior artworking/PM/QC role within the team.
Management of the team (Project Management, DTP, QC) in relation to:
Delivery of work in an on time manner
Quality of work
Scheduling of work
Escalation of potential issues to management support team
Monitors individual team members to identify and schedule required training.
Managing issues within team - troubleshooting, technical aspects, quality problems, discipline (full support from the management team in relation to these).
Manage punctuality within the team.
Training
Training and induction of new team members
Developing and maintaining Work Sequences and Work Instructions for all Roles : Project Management, DTP, QC
Signing off on training verification with new team members
Production & Team Performance
Attend morning production meeting to assess ongoing workloads and the overall schedule.
To provide regular updates in relation to the scheduling and issues to the management team.
Weekly individual production meetings with Production Management
To work closely with Brian in optimising the team efficiency and delivery performance and to continue the Lean/ Continuous Improvement Program that is in place.
Keeping performance of team and individual team members at highest level.
Team KPI Reporting as Per KPI Matrices
Quality
To work closely with Production Management and the Quality team in maintaining the high quality that is expected by the customer in relation their products.
To work with the Quality team on the investigation of issues and CAPAs
Other Responsibilities
Any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Employer including travel if necessary.
Work with Account Manager in relation to customer requirements, customer reviews and account development.
Working hours will be such hours that are needed as to make sure that the team are managed effectively and the project remains on schedule. This will include weekend work as required. Standard working hours are 8.30am - 5pm though it is expect at the outset that the required hours will be more extensive than this.

Requirements
1 - 3+ years experience within print/pharmaceutical industry.
Mac / PC Knowledge
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Experience in pharmaceutical Quality inspection
Experience in Prepress/repro environment would be an advantage
Package
Basic Salary €20K - €30K per annum based on prior experience
